After a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s, national treasure Dame Barbara Windsor died aged 83 on Thursday evening at a London care home.
Barbara won’t be forgotten, after cementing herself as one of the nation’s favourite actresses, leaving a huge legacy of films and TV shows behind her.
This weekend the Daily Star will include souvenir pull-outs to celebrate Barbara’s amazing life in its Saturday and Sunday papers.
It will shine a light on her rise to fame from her Carry On Films of the 1960s, to her role as iconic pub landlady Peggy Mitchell in Eastenders.
Barbara reportedly had romances with George Best, Bee Gee Maurice Gibb and Carry On co-star Sid James, and the pullouts will also look at her love life over the years.

Barbara’s husband Scott paid an emotional tribute to the actress following her death.
He said: “Her passing was from Alzheimer’s/dementia and Barbara eventually died peacefully and I spent the last seven days by her side.”
Among the many to pay tribute to Peggy was Ross Kemp, who played her on-screen son Grant Mitchell in EastEnders.

Ross and Barbara shared a wonderful friendship over the years, with the actor regularly updating fans on her condition during her final months.
He said: “Dame Barbara Windsor, the woman who always had time for everybody, has sadly left us. I will miss Bar always.
“My thoughts are with her husband Scott, who could have done no more and who stayed strong for her to the very end.”

Babs’ fellow EastEnders stars, such as Rita Simons and Kellie Bright, also took to social media to mark her legacy on the BBC One soap.
There will be an eight-page special pullout about Barbara in tomorrow’s Daily Star and a 16-page souvenir supplement in the Daily Star Sunday.
