Chrissy Teigen seeking 'intense grief counselling' after devastating miscarriage

Chrissy Teigen is said to be seeking some intense grief counselling as she continues to struggle with her tragic miscarriage in September.

The 35-year-old and her singing sensation husband John Legend, 41, lost their baby boy Jack after Chrissy developed a bleed.

The model and businesswoman is now trying help herself get back to her happiness, by “going through intense grief counselling”.

A source told US Weekly: “It is going to be a long and hard journey.”

They added: “Chrissy is doing her best to work on herself and stay positive.”

Back in August, the married couple announced that they were expecting their third baby together, after welcoming Luna in April 2016, and Miles in May 2018.

However the pregnancy sadly did not come to term after Chrissy ended up in hospital following days of bleeding.

Doctors diagnosed the beauty with partial placental abruption, which is when the placenta separates from the uterus wall, which blocks or limits the baby’s airflow.

At that point, Chrissy’s body could not sustain the baby.

The popular social media superstar bravely shared the news of her loss alongside some gut-wrenching photos of her in hospital from the moments after the sad incident.

She told her son: “To our Jack – I’m so sorry that the first few moments of your life were met with so many complications, that we couldn’t give you the home you needed to survive. We will always love you.”

However a number of people disagreed with Chrissy sharing the photos, which show her in tears in hospital after losing Jack.

But Chrissy opened up in a lengthy post online and spoke of her decision to share them – and how little she cared about other people’s opinions on them.

She wrote: “I cannot express how little I care that you hate the photos. How little I care that it’s something you wouldn’t have done.

“I lived it, I chose to do it, and more than anything, these photos aren’t for anyone but the people who have lived this or are curious enough to wonder what something like this is like.

“These photos are only for the people who need them. The thoughts of others do not matter to me.”

Since then, Chrissy has slowly returned to social media, keeping her 33.4million followers entertained with her hilarious uploads, despite going through one of the hardest moments of her life just months ago.

She recently admitted things were starting to slowly get easier for her, but she said: “I don’t want to ever not remember Jack.”
