The Chase fans in uproar as Shaun Wallace gets chocolate question wrong

The Chase fans were left in uproar after Monday evening’s episode after Chaser Shaun “The Dark Destroyer” Wallace made an obvious mistake.

In the final chase, Shaun was taking on the last three remaining contestants when he made a number of blunders which threatened his own win.

Firstly, he was asked a question about primary colours and answered “black”, with the primary colours being red, yellow and blue.

Shortly after, he suffered another blinder when host Bradley Walsh asked a question about where wasabi Kit-Kats were launched.

Shaun answered with “Switzerland” and got it wrong, with the contestants managing to push him back with the correct answer of “Japan”.

And his mistake didn’t go unnoticed by fans, who rushed to Twitter to call him out for the embarrassing blunder.

One person tweeted: “Wasabi – Japan Shaun FFS!”

Another said: “Japan FFS Shaun.”

A third wrote: “Wasabi Kit-Kats in Switzerland!? Are you for real, Shaun?”

Someone else typed: “How did Shaun get the wasabi question wrong?”

And another told him: “Shaun, what’s going on mate? You’re getting s***ter and s***ter.”

While others focused on his previous error, with one saying: “Did Shaun really just say black was a primary colour?”

A second tweeted: “Don’t forget, he got the primary colour question wrong too.”

Despite his couple of errors, Shaun managed to catch up to the contestants and sent them home empty handed.

Monday’s contestants had been 37-year-old Jamie from Aberdeen, Martin, 68, 23-year-old Natasha, and Amersham lass Paula, 53.

Three of them managed to make it to the final chase, with a healthy £15,000 in the bank.

However there were no celebrations as they lost it with just seconds to spare.

Last week, Bradley was left gobsmacked when Jenny “The Vixen” Ryan pointed out that the day’s contestants all shared their names with the Spice girls.

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV
