Liam Payne has reacted to Jesy Nelson ‘s decision to quit Little Mix claiming she left the band for the “same reasons” Zayn Malik left One Direction.
The 27-year-old pop star discussed the singer’s decision to leave the girl group on TikTok with his millions of fans recently.
Speaking about the shocking Little Mix news, Liam joked: “Someone Zayn’d out.”
“It’s always sad at this moment in time when bands get into that sort of thing,” Liam added
“Having been there myself, I feel like Zayn had left for pretty much the same reasons in a weird way.
“But I wish Jesy all the best. I wish the girls all the best with carrying on as a three.”

One Direction were formed on The X Factor in 2010, a year before Little Mix.
Zayn, 27, quit the boyband in March 2015 leaving Liam, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan to carry on as a four-piece group.
Liam continued to tell his followers: “It’s a tough time and I do feel for them, because everyone is watching in that little fish bowl at the moment.
“No one really understands what is going on and how it feels for some people. I’m sending a lot of love to Little Mix.”

Jesy, 29, announced on Monday that she’s quit being a member of the world’s biggest girl band nine years after winning The X Factor alongside fellow bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jade Thirlwall.
In an emotional statement shared on her Instagram page, the singer revealed being in the band since 2011 has “taken a toll on her mental health” and she found the “content pressure” very hard.
Jade, Perrie and Leigh-Anne have since announced that they will now carry on a a trio.

One Direction fans were devastated when the group announced their hiatus in 2015, five months after Zayn left the band.
In his exit statement, he penned at the time: “My life with One Direction has been more than I could ever have imagined. But, after five years, I feel like it is now the right time for me to leave the band.
“I’d like to apologise to the fans if I’ve let anyone down, but I have to do what feels right in my heart.
Over the past five years, Zayn has released several songs as a solo artist and has recently welcomed his first child with his supermodel girlfriend Gigi Hadid.
One Direction have never said their hiatus was the end, and the boys continue to give fans hope they’ll one day get back together, but they took a break due to their exhausting schedules.
“I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight.”
