Tom Cruise pictured close to Mission: Impossible crew before F-bomb Covid rant

Tom Cruise told Mission: Impossible crew that they’re “f***ing gone” if they broke coronavirus rules in audio released earlier this week.

However it appears he may not always have been so stringent when it comes to the guidelines, as he was pictured close to his co-star Hayley Atwell and film crew while they were filming in Rome.

In the photos, which were taken in October 2020, Tom could be seen standing close to Hayley while wearing a sturdy black mask over his mouth and nose.

Hayley also wore a mask, however she did not have it pulled over her nose and instead sat it on top of her lips only.

In the close background, other crew members could be seen working on the Italian set.

The seventh instalment of the Mission: Impossible franchise has been filming for months around Europe, but Tom’s expletive-filled rant happened in London.

In audio released by The Sun, Tom reportedly lost his temper after seeing two members of the crew standing less than two metres away from each other.

Tom Cruise is reportedly taking the safety precautions on the film set very seriously

He said in the released recording: “I don’t ever want to see it again, ever! And if You don’t do it you’re fired, if I see you do it again you’re f***ing gone.

“And if anyone in this crew does it – that’s it, and you too and you too. And you, don’t you ever f***ing do it again.”

He went on: “I’m on the phone with every f***ing studio at night, insurance companies, producers, and they’re looking at us and using us to make their movies.

“We are creating thousands of jobs you motherf***ers.”

Following the rant, five members of the crew reportedly quit after the Hollywood actor’s F-bomb explosion.

According to The Sun, some members of the crew walked away after his outburst, although “tension has been building for months”.

A source told the publication: “Since it became public there has been more anger and several staff have walked.

“But Tom just can’t take any more after all the lengths they have gone to just to keep filming at all. He’s upset others aren’t taking it as seriously as him. In the end, he’s the one who carries the can.”
