Louise Redknapp 'crumbling' as ex Jamie spends Christmas with new girlfriend

Louise Redknapp hinted at heartache in a recent social media post, sharing an emotional poem about a “warrior” and a “broken mess”.

Now, a source alleged to be close to the 46-year-old singer has claimed Louise is “struggling” ahead of the Christmas season.

The source told new magazine the Stretch songstress was finding it hard to face news her ex-husband Jamie Redknapp is spending Christmas with his new girlfriend.

Originally one of the UK’s most beloved showbiz couples, Louise and Jamie confirmed they were splitting in late 2017.

The former flames continue to co-parent their sons Beau, 12, and Charley, 16, living apart in separate homes.

Earlier this year, Jamie stepped out for the first time with his new girlfriend Frida Andersson Lourie, a former model from Sweden.

Speaking about Louise’s alleged reaction to his romantic status, the source told the publication: “I think Louise is struggling. That’s why you’re seeing cryptic quotes and the sexy selfies she’s been posting,” the magazine’s source claimed.

“She’s trying to show Jamie what he’s missing. But in her heart, I think she’s still crumbling.”

Daily Star has contacted Louise’s reps for comment.

At the beginning of December, Louise left her fans concerned when she shared a powerful poem to her Instagram account.

It read: “Some days she’s a warrior. Some days she’s a broken mess.”

Potenitally hinting she related to the lyrical poetry, it continued: “Most days she’s a bit of both. But everyday she’s there. Standing. Fighting. Trying.”

The former Eternal singer usually prefers to keep her private life out of the spotlight, but her soon-to-be released autobiography may shed more light on her journey.

Titled You Got This, the memoir is already available for pre-order, and is due to hit bookshelves in March of next year.

Opening up about the contents of the tell-all read, Louise said: “I wanted to write a book that was empowering and uplifting – a little bit of a love letter to anyone who has ever wondered if they’re getting it right in life… you got this.”
