BGT's Ant gets annoyed with David Walliams who falls over during festive special

Ant McPartlin almost lost his cool with Britain’s Got Talent co-star David Walliams during the recording for the talent show’s Christmas special.

David, 49, played up during the filming as he continually missed his stage cues and fell over while walking off the stage.

His antics caught the attention of host Ant, 45, who appeared to be annoyed by the comedian who took to the stage on several occasions during the episode.

Ant and co-host Declan Donnelly, 45, took to the stage dressed in black three-piece suits looked suave as they rehearsed the introductions to various acts as well as informing viewers what they can expect.

However, David had other ideas and often appeared behind the Geordie duo before telling Ant to “keep his forehead on”.

After realising it was finally his time to depart the stage, Walliams made an attempt to make a swift exit.

While trying to walk off, David who was dressed as a huge Christmas tree, complete with decorations became hooked onto several props and eventually fell over, landing on his face.

Clearly amused by what had just happened, fellow judge Alesha Dixon instantly erupted into fits of laughter at the cost of her pal.

Despite having been annoyed just moments prior to David’s trip, Ant was also in hysterics as he told the camera crew to pan the cameras over to a knocked down David.

The episode which will air on Christmas Day will see an array of previous winners take to the stage to showcase their show-stopping talents for fans once more.

Viewers can expect to see performances from all of the judges as they take to the stage with the talented BGT acts.

Speaking of the festive programme, acting head judge Amanda Holden said: “Well, it’s the perfect present, isn’t it, for everybody? After this year, I think BGT on Christmas Day for the first time ever will be a real tonic for everyone.

“This show has got everything. It makes you cry. It makes you howl with laughter. It makes you reflect.”

The West End actress continued: “I just kept sitting there thinking how proud I am that I’ve been part of every single one of these acts’ moment on stage. Right from the beginning, it was like my life flashing before me.

“It’s an honour to be part of Christmas telly because it’s an iconic day to be on.”
