Gigi Hadid ‘s younger brother Anwar has revealed he will not be having the coronavirus vaccine, despite suffering from Lyme disease.
The 21-year-old took to his Instagram Story to do a live Q&A with his 3.8million followers and was keen to air his opinion on vaccines.
When a fan asked him: “Will you take the vaccine?” Anwar quickly replied: “Absolutely not.”
Another follower then quizzed him: “Why are you anti-vax?”
The model, who is dating Dua Lipa, replied: “Either I just don’t get it or I get it and go willing heal from it and get antibodies rather than do that process unaturally, our bodies are made by the creator to do way more than we think (sic).”

Anwar has been diagnosed with Lyme disease, along with his 24-year-old sister Bella and their mother Yolanda, 56.
Lyme disease is a bacterial infection that humans can catch through bites from infected ticks. Symptoms of the disease include a circular red rash (often resembling a bullseye) and flu-like symptoms.
In more severe cases, it can end up causing heart and nerve problems, pain and swelling in the joints, and difficulty concentrating for years afterwards.
Bella has been very open about the illness and explained in August: “Every day I feel at least 10 of these attributes without fail.”
The model added that she’s been dealing with the symptoms of Lyme disease “since I was probably 14, but more aggressively when I turned 18”.
It’s not clear what Bella’s thoughts are on the possibility of having the Covid-19 vaccine.
Last week, the US approved the Moderna coronavirus vaccine for emergency use.
Dr June Raine, the chief executive of the UK’s Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), said of the another of the vaccines – the Pfizer jab – that there “should be no doubt whatever that this is a very safe and highly effective vaccine”.
There are also hopes that the Oxford vaccine will be approved in the UK soon too.
