Despite being one-third of the worlds biggest girl band, Jade Thirlwall has admitted that even she faces knockbacks in the dating game.
The pop princess spoke candidly about her approach to fellow celebs before she settled down with boyfriend Jordan Stephens earlier this year.
Jade, 28, revealed that she went through a “phase” of messaging other celebrities on social media but was left unamused when her messages went ignored.
Speaking on Chicken Shop Date, Geordie babe Jade admitted that she was stunned with “the amount of pie” that somebody could be served.
The Little Mix star told of her romantic ways: “I went through a phase of trying to slide into a lot of DMs and literally,
“I didn’t realise the amount of pie one person could receive, I do love pie but not in a sort of romantic way.”
The Sweet Melody songstress continued: “I DM’ed Lewis Capaldi once to see if he wanted to go to karaoke with us – and he just didn’t reply.”
However, Scottsman Lewis isn’t the only celebrity she exposed for ignoring her, admitting that she shot her chance with rapper AJ Tracey.

“I tried sliding into his [AJ Tracey’s] DMs as well, got pied, literally didn’t reply,” she joked.
Despite her unsuccessful approach, Jade found love during the first lockdown period with singer turned actor Jordan, who she now lives with.
Jade beamed from ear-to-ear as she spoke about her beau, who she was first linked to in May of 2020.
After being asked whether she was a fan of Jordan’s band and “down with the trumpets” a reference to Rizzle Kicks’ hit single, Jade smirked as she responded: “I’m very down, with his trumpet.”
Following rumours of a career outside of Little Mix, Jade teased that the three members may already have solo projects lined up.
Speaking to Hit’s Ash London, she said: “You know, eventually in the future we might go off and do our own bits and bobs – but Little Mix will literally never die.
“We’ve always said that – we’re like, we always need Little Mix.”
