Pregnant Laura Whitmore shares first snap of 'magical' wedding to Iain Stirling

Love Island presenter Laura Whitmore gushed over her “magical” wedding to the show’s voiceover artist Iain Stirling, who she married in Dublin earlier this year.

Laura, 35, said that they had the “most magical, perfect ceremony” 12 months after her proposed to her, as she shared a stunning snap of the big day.

The Celebrity Juice presenter is expecting their first child together, and took to social media to finally confirm they were married and “loved having it to ourselves”, posting a never-seen-before picture.

In the snap, Laura was seen wearing an elegant white suit while holding a bouquet of flowers up in the air, completing the look with a white headband.

Meanwhile, Iain also held his arm up in the air as he donned a dark suit with a flower in his lapel, beaming at the camera.

Laura captioned the snap: “Entering 2021 like…

“A year ago Iain asked me to marry him and we had the most magical, perfect ceremony. We loved having it to ourselves.

“We had been planning the perfect celebration and I will forever be so thankful that’s what we got. We have never spoken publicly about our engagement or wedding.”

She added: “Back at the time we never felt the need to say anything as it’s all such a personal experience. We also were too busy enjoying it!

“We’ve never shared this picture before now but a lot of people have contacted us and congratulated us the last month with good intentions so here’s to good news!”

Laura finished the post off by wishing her fans a happy New Year and “sending love to you and yours”.

It has been reported that the pair got married at Dublin’s City Hall in front of 25 guests, the maximum allowed by Ireland’s Covid regulations.

Laura’s half-brother Adam and Iain’s sister Kirsten were witnesses to the special occasion.

Around the same time as the reports, Laura announced she was expecting their first child together in a sweet post on Instagram.

She wrote: “So I’ve always tried to be protective over the personal side of my life.

“A lot of things are just for me and my loved ones and we’ve chosen not to share publicly.

“However I want to now share good news as it’s our news to share – and I’m gonna be honest it’s starting to look like my lock down beer belly is out of control.”

Laura then confirmed that she and Iain were expecting their first child in 2021, continuing: “It’s been hard to keep such happy news quiet.

“Especially the times when I’ve had to run out of live radio to get sick in a bin or my penchant for a bowl of mashed potato in the morning.”

It is yet to be confirmed if Laura will continue presenting Love Island next year.
