Holly Willoughby missing from This Morning as she's replaced after festive break

Holly Willoughby was missing from Monday’s This Morning.

The 39-year-old television star didn’t present the show alongside Phil Schofield as she failed to return from her Christmas break.

As the show started at 10am, Phillip told viewers that Holly was “spending an extra few days with her family”.

Rochelle Humes was on presenting duties alongside Phil, and viewers wondered where Holly was.

One viewer wrote: “Where’s Holly?”

While another questioned: “Holly needs more time off?”

“First @thismorning of the new year… Where is @hollywills”, penned a third.

Phil confirmed where Holly was at the start of the show as he revealed: “Holly is spending an extra few days with the family, so Rochelle is here.”

This comes after the television presenter was absent from This Morning for several days in November 2020.

She sparked concern among fans when she was replaced by Alison Hammond and then Davina McCall.

The only explanation given was that she was having a “well deserved day off”.

During the show, Rochelle suffered an embarrassing wardrobe gaffe while hosting the show’s competition Spin To Win.

She was left giggling alongside Phil, who told her she had to tell viewers why they were laughing so much.

Rochelle said she had received a text message from her stylist telling her to take the labels off her shoes.

That was when she realised she had labels stuck to the bottom of her stylish green boots.

She exclaimed: “My mum will be so disappointed. That’s her biggest bugbear.

“Stickers on the boots. Soz mum!”

This Morning airs weekdays at 10am on ITV.
