EastEnders favourite Sharon Beale (Letitia Dean) is determined to get rid of her husband Ian (Adam Woodyatt) for good but things nearly took a sinister turn on Tuesday.
The Queen Vic landlady crushed up some more drugs and put them in a cup of coffee for her hubby at the start of the episode in a bid to kill him.
However, Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) made an unannounced arrival and wanted a chat with her pal Sharon about her relationship with Mick (Danny Dyer).
As the pair had a natter over a cuppa, Ollie entered the kitchen and picked up the poisoned mug of tea.
Sharon yelled at the little boy, which led him to flee the kitchen.
Linda was confused as to why her friend acted in such a way, with Sharon suggesting that caffeine was no good for the youngster.
As Sharon just about managed to cover her tracks, viewers at home were gobsmacked at the almost fatal mistake.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Omg Ollie nearly took Sharon’s drug coffee. Sharon could be biting off more then she can chew.”
A second person added: “That was close with Ollie!”
While a third viewer wrote: “Ah god Sharon got away with that one. One more move and Ollie would have been toast.”
Eastenders viewers found out over Christmas that it was Sharon who was behind the attack on Ian.
She discovered that Ian plays a part in her son Denny’s death back in February.
In a bid to get her revenge, Sharon instructed her ex Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) to get rid of Ian.
With Ian having survived the assault, Sharon has become more determined than ever to get her revenge.
Therefore she’s been slowly poisoning him.
Will Sharon manage to kill off Ian or will she be caught in the act?
EastEnders continues on BBC One on Thursday at 7.30pm
