Lucie, who is currently dating Winter Love Island star Luke Mabbott, spoke about being “unhappy” with the way she looked and felt when she was younger.
She shared a snap from her new Ann Summers collaboration as well as the blast from the past with her 1.7million followers on Instagram.
Alongside the picture collage, Lucie wrote: “I’ve never shared any photos from my teens because I’ve always been too embarrassed, but recently I’ve spoken out about this during my interviews launching the new range with Ann Summers.

“I started to only in the last couple of years to feel confident in my body, but like everyone I still have parts I’d love to work on,” [sic] Lucie added.
She explained: “I used to cover up a lot and only feel comfortable in a long wetsuit when at the beach, but proud of myself to feel that I love my body so much now I’ve changed my lifestyle.”

She told the publication: “When I was younger I never would’ve dreamed I’d feel confident enough to wear a bikini on the beach, let alone promote a lingerie range.”
The star continued: “I suffered a bit in my teens with my body confidence – I didn’t like showing my arms, so I often wore long-sleeved jackets.
“I would only feel safe on the beach when I was in my wetsuit, so my skin wasn’t on show.
“Two years ago I cut out gluten from my diet and I felt so much better in myself and I lost weight. I did a lot of fitness training too so now I feel proud of my body.”
