The Chase fans 'in love' with player as they forgive her for taking low offer

The Chase viewers were distracted during tonight’s episode as a ‘gorgeous’ contestant took part.

Pepe, a learning support assistant who works in an early years school, took to the stage to take on chaser Anne Hegerty.

The brunette beauty managed to make £3,000 in her cash-builder round but decided to take Anne’s low offer of £1k.

Viewers of The Chase are known for slamming the contestants if they make the controversial decision to go low, but this time many supported Pepe’s choice.

One fan said: “Pepe, you could get zero, take a 20k minus offer and I really wouldn’t care…”

While another wrote: “Pepe can take the minus offer and I will not complain”.

“Pepe’s that hot no one even cares that she went for the minus offer”, penned a third with a laughing emoji.

Viewers continued to swoon over Pepe as she attempted to retrieve the £1,000 for her team’s prize fund.

Another gushed: “I’ve just fallen in love watching The Chase. Hello Pepe.”

A fifth viewer remarked: “Pepe is gorgeous…”

Sadly, Pepe didn’t make it through to the final round as Anne, known on the ITV show as The Governess, was victorious.

Luke was also eliminated after his round, so it was just Clare and Dominic remaining in the final chase as they played for £13,000 between them.

They managed to achieve an impressive 17 step lead against Anne, so the odds were certainly on their side.

It was a close call, but Anne managed to beat them with just four seconds remaining.

After her win, The Governess said: “”They were very good. Slow and steady, and so was I.”

The Chase airs weekdays at 5pm on ITV.
