Peter Andre still has no sense of smell and is 'foggy' after 10 day Covid battle

Singer Peter Andre provided an update on his health after he was struck down with Covid-19 ten days ago.

The 47-year-old hitmaker explained that his sense of smell still hasn’t returned and that he was feeling “quite foggy in the head”.

Sharing his latest developments after seemingly getting over the worst of the illness, he still didn’t appear to be back to his usual self in the YouTube snippet.

The reality TV star did confirm that he is now free to leave his home in Surrey after being forced to isolate in accordance with government guidelines.

Speaking to subscribers, he said: “As of now I’m out of isolation. I got a call from the track and trace team who asked what symptoms I had left.

“I said all the aches had gone, the cough’s gone but I still have no sense of smell. That only happened recently. I’m still quite foggy in the head.”

He hilariously shared that there had been some confusion about where he could venture too with the track and trace representative.

“Adding: They said it’s been more than 10 days now so I can go out and about. I said ‘but we’re in lockdown’ and they went ‘obviously, wherever you are allowed to go, go.'”

Before receiving his positive test, Peter was convinced that he hadn’t actually come down with the virus, thinking that his mildish symptoms had just been the result of a nasty bug.

Sharing a video on his YouTube channel, Princess, 13, that he shares with his ex wife Katie Price, can be heard from the back of the car asking her dad “Do you think you have corona?”

To which the Mysterious Girl singer replied “no,” before his wife Emily, 31, who is a frontline NHS doctor, quickly interjected her views, that she didn’t feel he had Covid-19.

Uploading the clip just six days ago, Peter told his army of fans how “wrong” he’d been and that urged people to stay at home if symptomatic.

He wrote: “How wrong was I? This proves that you should never underestimate your symptoms… check out our latest vlog to see how things unfold…
