Hollyoaks actress Stephanie Davis is set to release new music – penned from her darkest days.
The Scouse babe, who quit the hit Channel 4 soap last year, said the tracks came from the “utter pain” of hitting rock bottom and checking in to rehab.
Steph, 27, said: “I wrote when I came out of rehab and everyone said, ‘Oh is it too soon to go to the studio?’
“I am being big-headed about myself but it was like utter pain coming out. It was relatable.
“I can’t wait to share them with you. You will see me and my music very soon.”

After hanging up her role of Sinead O’Connor in 2015, Steph went on to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house in 2016.
The decision lead her to meet Jeremy McConnell before striking up a horrendously turbulent relationship and turning to booze.
Now sober and happier than ever, Steph, who is the proud mum of four-year-old Caben Albi, said she can’t even bare to see others turn to alcohol and use it as a crutch like she did.

“I hate alcohol, it destroyed my life,” she continued.
“It repulses me and it makes me feel horrible knowing that people are ruining their lives with it.
“I just think ‘oh my God, no’ – life is so much better without it.”
With a new positive outlook on life, Steph said she is now more content than ever both in herself and being single after seeking therapy.

The starlet said: “I don’t want to get into a relationship again. I am so happy again.
“I just don’t want to. I am so happy on my own.”
Steph returned to Hollyoaks in 2018 leading to her winning Best Actress at the 2019 Inside Soap Awards.
However, last summer she left the show for good.
Announcing the news via Instagram, Steph posted an image which read “Goals: Be Happy”, alongside a short statement.
Steph wrote: “Sometimes we make decisions based not on what we want but what we know is right!
“I have loved bringing Sinead into your homes for the past 10 years but it’s with a heavy heart I have decided to leave Hollyoaks and now looking forward to working on new and exciting projects. Excited!”
A rep for Lime Pictures who produces Hollyoaks said: “In mutual agreement with Lime Pictures, Stephanie Davis is leaving her role as Sinead O’Connor on Hollyoaks.
“We would like to thank Stephanie for her huge contribution to the show and the enjoyment her character Sinead has brought to fans.”
