Katie Price has made a painful admission that she would prefer for Harvey to die before her as she doesn’t believe he’d be able to cope without his mum.
The 42-year-old believes that due to her close bond with her eldest son Harvey that he would be “heartbroken” as nobody really understands him like she does.
As Harvey is autistic and suffers from Prader-Willi syndrome – which can cause learning difficulties and behaviour issues – and Septo-optic Dysplasia – which affects his eyesight – Katie feels he wouldn’t be able to accept why she wasn’t there.
The My Crazy Life star made it clear that she in no way wanted her eldest child to die but insisted that she was fearful of how he would manage on his own.

With the BBC One documentary airing on Monday, the mum-of-five opened up about her worry on an episode of Steph’s Packed Lunch.
She said: “The reason I say it is because he won’t cope without me.
“He’d be so heartbroken because I know everything about him – how he likes to be tickled, how I finish his sentences, I play the mum and dad role.
“And you can’t beat your mum’s cuddles, no one can cuddle him at school.”

The reality star went on: “I don’t think anyone else could care for him like me and he wouldn’t understand why I wasn’t there. I don’t want him to die, don’t get me wrong, but other mums would understand who were in my situation.
“It’s because I care about Harvey. Of course, he has siblings who would make sure he was OK. It’s just because I have that much of a bond with him, it would just break his heart.”
The 18-year-old would have support of siblings Junior, 15, and Princess, 13, who Katie shares with first husband Peter Andre, and Bunny, seven, and Jett, six, whose father is ex Kieran Hayler.

Meanwhile the former glamour model hit the headlines after she sent Harvey’s dad Dwight Yorke an encouraging message to get in touch, urging that her “door is always open”.
She also felt that it was important for Harvey to get to know his secret half-brother Orlando who was born in 2007.
Wanting the ex-footballer to reach out, Katie explained: “I’ve always said the door is open for Dwight when he wants to get in touch.
“Harvey has done nothing wrong. He deserves to know his dad and meet his half-brother. I wonder if he even knows Harvey is his brother?”
Recently, Katie has been gearing up to get Harvey all moved in to his new residential college, which will help with his care as well as preparing him for adulthood.
Katie Price: Harvey and Me, airs Monday night at 8.30pm on BBC One.
