Liar actor Ioan Gruffudd has been accused of walking out on his wife Alice Evans and their two daughters.
Actress Alice had taken to social media to claim that Ioan, 47, simply told her he “no longer loves” her before calling it quits.
Taking to Twitter, Alice posted to her 26,000 followers: “Sad news. My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years, Ioan Gruffudd, has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week.
“Me and our young daughters girls are very confused and sad. We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me.’ I’m so sorry.”

The post has since been deleted and Daily Star have contacted a rep for Ioan Gruffudd for comment.
The duo met when filming hit Disney film 102 Dalmatians where Alice played Chloe Simon, the love interest of Ioan’s character Kevin Shepherd.
They married seven years later in 2007 before welcoming two daughters, Ella, 11 and Elsie, 7.
Speaking to The Guardian last year, Alice admitted that she and Ioan had ‘struggled’ for four years with their relationship.

Alice said: “I think we’ve struggled the past four years, making time for each other because physically we’re apart.”
Ioan, who appeared in Hollywood blockbuster Fantastic Four, went on add he found it tough when being a stay at home dad.
He said: “Alice had come back, she had been away for a week.
“I was showing off – ‘the kids are in bed’ – and she was ‘Yeah, you’ve done one week Ioan, try six months’.”

Alice has had previously been very open about their desire to expand their family after suffering fertility issues.
In 2016 she wrote in the Daily Mail about undergoing IVF treatment at a cost of £7,000 a time.
Alice penned: “I know how lucky I am. I won the lottery.
“I get to kiss goodnight to the two most precious human beings I’ve ever met.”
In 2017 Ioan found critical acclaim once more after appearing as rapist Andrew Earlham in hit series Liar on ITV.
Created by BAFTA and Golden Globe producers and screenwriters Harry and Jack Williams, the show saw Ioan take the last as a surgeon who was a serial sex offender.
Series two aired last year to a mixed reaction.
