Frankie Bridge avoids sex scenes on TV so husband Wayne 'doesn't get any ideas'

Frankie Bridge revealed that she tries to avoid watching sex scenes on television so that husband and football star Wayne Bridge “doesn’t get any ideas”.

The 32-year-old featured on Monday’s Loose Women panel to discuss whether or not sex scenes were deemed appropriate to watch at home.

While Frankie admitted that she wasn’t “a prude”, the former girl band member did explain that in some instances she had felt uncomfortable, especially because she lives with her in-laws and children.

But the biggest issue for Frankie when it came to watching steamy love making on the box was trying to ensure that hubby Wayne didn’t want to get frisky between the sheets afterwards.

Being a busy mum-of-two, the former Saturday’s singer simply explained that after relaxing on the sofa at night all she wanted to do was sleep.

Speaking on the show, she candidly said: “All I think about when watching sex scenes with Wayne is, ‘babe, do not get any ideas I’m going to sleep’.”

Frankie joined Monday’s line up which also included Charlene White, Jane Moore and Nadia Sawalha.

Sex scenes on television was just one hot topic in discussion on Monday’s episode.

And the former S Club Juniors songstress had been vocal throughout the entire programme, providing her own input and views on a number of subjects.

Earlier, the panel had raised the question about arguing in front of parents or in laws, given the fact she was living with hers.

Frankie confessed that former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! star Wayne’s parents had actually moved into their family home and she didn’t have a choice when it came to disputes that took place in front of his mum and dad.

However, it wasn’t something that she was going to lose any sleep over as she confessed her husband’s mum tended to “take her side” when arguments broke out anyway.

But she did explain that if Wayne’s mum ever sided with him she’d be telling them “to move out”.

Loose Women airs weekdays on ITV at 12.30pm on ITV
