Stephen Bear branded 'sick' by fans as he admits twins pregnancy post was a hoax

Stephen Bear has been dubbed ‘sick’ by his fans after he ripped a baby scan off Google and said his girlfriend was pregnant with twins.

The 31-year-old controversial star, who is dating 18-year-old Tia, laughed off backlash as he moaned on his YouTube channel that “people can’t take a joke”.

In the video, Stephen is sitting in his living room while he addresses what he says was just a “prank”.

He said: “Happy Monday everyone, or should I say mix it up Monday?

“I thought I’d do a little tweet, just having a laugh. I got this picture on Google [shows camera], like a picture of twins. I thought I’d lighten up everyone’s mood today.”

Stephen went on: “I just feel like you can’t have jokes anymore in this society. I don’t know if it’s just Twitter, but on YouTube everyone seems a lot more fun.

“I go on Twitter and everyone’s so angry, so miserable, they’re so annoyed I’ve done a tweet pretending to have twins. Even though I do want twins.

“I’m curious to see what the public would thing if I did have babies.”

Stephen’s original tweet which angered fans read: “Wasn’t expecting 2,” followed by a laughing emoji.

He continued: “Think it’s time I should I grow up.”

However the majority of the star’s YouTube subscribers also found the joke rather distasteful.

Some eagle-eyed followers noticed the scan pic appeared to be taken from a historic blog post from 2019 which had no connection to Bear.

“Googling photos of pregnancy scans now? Such a weird and toxic bloke on many levels,” one Twitter user raged.

One commented: “You’ve absolutely lost it, how is that funny using someone else’s pregnancy picture? Just admit you were wrong, end of story.”

Another wrote: “It’s not a joke though Stephen, that picture belongs to a woman who is on Twitter.

“You can’t go around posting people’s photos ‘for a laugh’.”

“Just call it a day now, you’re embarrassing yourself,” said another.

One user among the many slamming him rushed to defend him.

They tweeted: “Social media is a toxic playground. It’s quite scary the amount of unhinged characters there are out there. Keep doing your thing bro.”
