Dancing on Ice star Faye Brookes was catapulted to the headlines in 2019 after reports emerged she had a steamy fling with a fellow Coronation Street co-star.
It’s reported the 32-year-old actress hooked up with fellow soap ITV star Sam Robertson while on a two-week break from her on/off relationship with singer Gareth Gates.
Sources claimed Gareth took a trip away to Ibiza with his sister to take his mind of his heartbreak from the relationship break, which neither have confirmed or denied to this day.
Gareth and Faye split for the final time in August 2019 after seven years of being in an on/off relationship.
But not before the alleged fling caused quite the storm.

Their split came almost seven years after the former couple met in 2012 on the set of hit musical Legally Blonde.
Faye played the star role of Elle Woods and Gareth as her former lover Warner.
It wasn’t long before they began dating, splitting six years later in September 2018.
However, they got back together and in January 2019 Faye announced that she was engaged to the former Pop Idol star.

They then came to an end in August 2019 – with Faye calling off the wedding a month before they broke-up.
Two years later and Faye is now dating personal trainer Joe Davies, while Gareth is in a relationship with DJ Chloe McLennan.
But just before they went their separate ways for good, it’s reported a fling took place while Faye and Gareth were on a two-week break from their relationship.
At the time, The Sun claimed a source told them Faye had a secret fling with co-star Sam during her break from Gareth.

An insider reportedly told the publication at the time: “It was the talk of the Coronation Street set when Faye and Sam hooked up.
“Her cast mates were under the impression the break from Gareth was simply to do with feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to make wedding plans.
“While they’d been a couple for a long time, after getting engaged Faye realised their relationship was moving to the next level — and she wasn’t 100% sure that was what she wanted.

“Sam was a good friend and a shoulder to cry on. Before they realised it, one thing had led to another.”
The source continued: “But Faye was keen to make things work with Gareth and put a halt to things with Sam going any further.
“She wanted to be honest with Gareth and confessed what had happened while they were apart.
“He thought he could get over it but, in the end, it was simply too much.”
Following the accusations hitting headlines, Gareth took to his Instagram account at the time to share a cryptic message.
Posting on his story on a black blank page, he wrote: “I’ve learnt over the years that when people make up lies about you, don’t rise to it.
“Stay true to yourself knowing that eventually the truth will come out.”
He continued: “Wise words by… erm.. Me.”
