Piers Morgan, of Good Morning Britain, has slammed Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s recent pregnancy photo, branding it ‘cheesy’.
The host has been a critic of the couple since they made the decision to step down as senior royals last year.
He tweeted the picture the Duke and Duchess of Sussex shared with a message to his 7.7million followers.
He wrote: “Harry and Meghan have announced they’re pregnant and released this cheesy photo of themselves to ensure the media gives the story about their private life more prominence – in their latest courageous effort to stop the same media focusing on their private life.”

The 55-year-old’s tweet was liked and retweeted thousands of times in a matter of minutes, following the couple’s baby announcement on Valentine’s Day.
A GMB fan said they would never hear the end of it on the show, but the host replied: “Relax, I’m off for a week.”
Piers has regularly hit out at the royal couple with rants and jibes since they announced they were starting their own path and moved to California.

A matter of days ago, he urged the Queen to permanently strip Prince Harry of his military titles because he cannot be an “absentee armchair general”.
His latest rant came as Harry and Meghan told fans their son Archie was going to be a big brother and they’re expecting their second child.
A spokesperson for the couple said: “We can confirm that Archie is going to be a big brother.

The announcement followed the Duchess’ honest and candid essay last year, where she revealed she suffered a miscarriage.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle quit their senior royal roles in March 2020, in a bid for personal and financial freedom, and now reside in an £11million house in the US.
The new baby will be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip’s tenth great-grandchild.
He or she – as the Sussex’s are yet to announce the gender of the bump – will be Prince Charles’ fifth grandchild, joining Archie and Prince William’s children, George, Charlotte and Louis.
The new baby will be eighth in line to the throne.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s first child, Archie, was born in 2019, and is set to celebrate his second birthday on May 6.
The royal couple also took inspiration from Princess Diana, who announced 37 years ago today that she was expecting Harry.
