Good Morning Britain star Alex Beresford has risked the wrath of Piers Morgan after he made a shock admission during Thursday’s show.
The weather presenter hosted the latest edition of the ITV breakfast show alongside co-star Charlotte Hawkins.
Alex and Charlotte kicked off the show but discussing Piers’ show Life Stories, which will see the television presenter chat to Chris Eubank abut his career on Thursday night.
However, Alex admitted that he’d never watched the popular talk show fronted by his GMB co-star.
He explained: “I’ve never watched Piers Morgan’s Life Stories before.”
A gobsmacked Charlotte asked: “What?”
“I don’t know what Piers is going to say to you when he sees you.”

Alex replied: “I don’t see him that much anymore.”
Charlotte added: “You think you’re going to get away with it do you?”
Alex failed to respond to Charlotte and continued on with the hosting the show.
It comes just weeks after Piers made a cheeky dig at Alex as he handed over to his colleague to give the latest weather news
“Here’s Alex who is by far from being the greatest weatherman of all time,” the former newspaper editor joked during an episode last month.

However, the friendly feud didn’t end there as Alex hit back during his weather segment.
The 40-year-old star quipped: “Well the great news is that Piers is not here tomorrow, but the bad news is that the weather is pretty testing out there and there are a number of warnings in place.”
It’s not the first time Piers, 55, and Alex have been caught up in a spat in recent time.
The pair had some crossed words when Piers asked Alex what the weather forecast looked like for the Cricket World Cup in June last year.

Piers enquired what the outlook was from the forecaster as Eoin Morgan’s men look to bounce back from losing to Sri Lanka.
Alex said: “Are you talking to me?”
The weatherman then added: “I don’t work for you.”
An irate Piers then said he would Google the weather after being snubbed by his co-star.
Some viewers have even suggested that Piers and Alex solved their ongoing feud in the ring.
“Have you thought about settling the tension with maybe a charity boxing match between you both? I think a lot of people would pay to watch that” one Twitter user wrote.
Piers and Alex also found themselves embroiled in another heated debate in January 2020 when Piers asked Alex for his opinion on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
Alex has previously walked off the show after Piers made fun of his weather presenting.
