Good Morning Britain viewers were left hot under the collar on Thursday as Alex Beresford and Laura Tobin reminisced about sharing a tent together at Glastonbury.
Alex, 40, was on presenting duty alongside Charlotte Hawkins during the latest edition of the ITV breakfast show.
Discussion turned to a newspaper headline that bald men with beards are the best in bed, leading Charlotte, 45, to turn to her co-host for verification.
Charlotte asked: “Is that true, Alex?” as he turned away, looking uncomfortable.
Meteorologist Laura, 39, then got the giggles and declared: “The rumours are true.”
As the studio descended into fits of laughter, Charlotte asked: “Is there something going on between the two of you we should know about?”
Laura quipped: “He wishes. There was this one time at Glastonbury when we had to share a tent.”
Alex then joked: “How old is your daughter?”
Before adding: “Nothing happened in the tent” as Charlotte took it to a break
Viewers at home rushed to their keyboards to discuss the cheeky chat, which aired before 7am this morning.
Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “What happened in the GMB tent at Glastonbury? It’s like the Gavin & Stacey fishing trip all over again.”
Another added: “Just spat my coffee out @alexberesfordTV @Lauratobin1.”
While a third person posted: “Did you hear about Glastonbury? Alex and Laura SHOCKER!”
A fourth viewer said: “Laura Tobin is incredibly flirty at 6 o clock in the morning.”
Charlotte quickly shut down the conversation and insisted that bosses were telling her to move on.
Alex was clearly in a mischievous mood as he also took a savage swipe at Piers Morgan.
Charlotte and Alex kicked off the show but discussing Piers’ show Life Stories, which will see the outspoken presenter chat to Chris Eubank on Thursday night.
However, Alex admitted that he’d never watched Piers Morgan’s Life Stories.
He explained: “I’ve never watched Life Stories before.”
A gobsmacked Charlotte asked: “What?”
“I don’t know what Piers is going to say to you when he sees you.”
Alex replied: “I don’t see him that much anymore.”
Charlotte added: “You think you’re going to get away with it do you.”
