TOWIE’s Lydia Bright has admitted she is still “very good friends” with ex James “Arg” Argent as she shared a screenshot of him FaceTiming her baby daughter.
Fans followed their tumultuous relationship on The Only Way is Essex, on which Arg and Lydia shot to fame.
The couple split five years ago, and Arg went on to date fellow TOWIE star Gemma Collins.
The adorable snapshot was posted yesterday after a fan asked Lydia: “Do you and Arg still speak?”
The star responded: “Yes, we are very good friends. He has always remained best friends with my mum and younger brother Tommy.”

In the screenshot, Lydia’s baby Loretta is looking right at the camera, held by her grandmother Debbie, who is clearly awestruck by the little girl.
Lydia previously expressed her well wishes towards her former flame in 2017, insisting to OK! Magazine: “All I ever wish for him is to be happy and healthy.”
Single mum Lydia, now 30, first struck up a romance with Arg when they were both teenagers.

The childhood sweethearts finally split for good in 2016 after Lydia allegedly found Arg using cocaine.
The TOWIE hunk had relapsed after a stint in rehab.
It wasn’t the couple’s only bump in the road, as when they reunited for a single night on a TOWIE holiday series, it eventually emerged that Arg had slept with Gemma Collins on the same day.

Lydia went on to date Lee Cronin, Loretta’s dad, but they too eventually split.
Lydia’s now fully embracing the single mum life.
The doting mum is clearly doing well on her own, regularly sharing snaps on Instagram of her with her baby girl while out and about.
Meanwhile, Arg’s dating life has continued to be affected by his addiction issues.
He and Gemma broke up because of his cocaine use, though it was reported that they were back together earlier this month after Arg’s latest rehab stay.
The toxic split occurred after Arg branded Gemma a “hippo” and a “fat f***” in a text conversation that self-confessed diva GC shared online.
The pair are said to have become “inseparable” in lockdown.
