YouTuber Grace Victory wakes up from induced coma after coronavirus battle

Grace Victory has woken up from an induced coma after over two months.

The 30-year-old YouTube star was placed in a coma after giving birth to her baby boy on Christmas Eve to “help her body rest” as she battled coronavirus.

Taking to social media, Grace left her fans overjoyed as she shared the wonderful news that she’s awake and her son is ‘thriving’.

She sent two tweets on Monday (8th March) to let her devoted followers know she and her baby are okay.

In the first tweet, she said: “I’m awake”, with a white heart emoji.

She wrote: “Baby boy is thriving at home x”, in her second tweet.

Grace’s fans and loved ones rushed to the post, showering the internet star with messages of love and support after hearing the good news.

Grace, who discusses beauty and body image on her YouTube channel, first contracted Covid-19 two weeks before she gave birth.

Her son was not due until February, but concerned doctors decided to deliver the baby early as Grace was “too unwell” to continue with the pregnancy.

In December, her loved ones asked Grace’s supporters to pray for her recovery as they wrote on Instagram: “We love her so, so much and we know she’ll come out of this stronger than ever.

“She has dedicated her whole career to healing people, we now ask that you pray, to heal her.”
