J Lo and Alex Rodriguez address split rumours as they 'work through things'

Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez have confirmed they are still together, putting any rumours of a split to bed.

On Friday, the showbiz sweethearts, who got engaged in 2019, were plagued by rumours they had suddenly cancelled their engagement and ended their relationship.

However, J Lo, 51, and A-Rod, 45, have denied the rumours, confirming they are still together but “working through” problems in their relationship.

The couple told TMZ: “All the reports are inaccurate. We are working through some things.”

According to the publication, Jennifer and Alex also confirmed the issues in their relationship are not related to a third party.

The sweethearts started dating four years ago, with Jennifer, and her children eventually moving into his Miami mansion as they took their romance to the next level.

While the lovebirds planned on getting married in 2020, their plans were put on hold due to the coronavirus outbreak, cancelling the wedding for a second time later that year.

Speaking out on their wedding plans in December, J Lo said: “We had to cancel the wedding … because of COVID, because of the quarantine. And we actually did it twice, which people don’t know.”

In 2001, she wed actor and choreographer Cris Judd, who fell for the starlet when he was hired to direct the music video for her song Love Don’t Cost A Thing.

Jennifer’s longest, and most high-profile marriage was to salsa artist and Grammy-winner Marc Anthony, welcoming twins Emme Maribel Muñiz and Maximilian David Muñiz in 2008.

They separated in 2011, but their divorce wasn’t finalised for another three years, with Jennifer retaining primary custody of their children.
