The Grammy Awards 2021 are almost here.
On Monday, March 15, the 63rd annual ceremony kicks off, though due to the pandemic things will be a little different.
The Recording Academy has billed the show as a “more intimate” evening.
Like with the Golden Globes, singers and songwriters will be appearing via video link and virtually tuning in from around the world.
In light of the lack of red carpet action for the 2021 Grammys, we’ve looked back at some of our favourite outfits over the years.
While the Grammys are no VMAs in terms of celebrity shock value, the ceremony is still packed with iconic moments.
Here, Daily Star runs down the most iconic Grammy Awards looks.

It wouldn’t be a Grammy Awards outfit list without Jennifer Lopez featuring high up on the bill.
The In The Morning babe arguably created one of the most memorable red carpet looks of all time thanks to her collaboration with Italian fashion house Versace.
Teaming up with Donatella Versace, less than three years after the designer took the helm of the brand following the murder of her brother Gianni, JLo stunned in a sheer green gown.
The frontless number sported a neckline so low it scooped all the way past her navel.
With a bold tropical leaf and bamboo design, the dress was also slit up the sides to allow JLo’s killer pins to take centre stage.
Admitting she was stunned by the reaction, Lopez later said: “It was a nice dress. I had no idea it was going to become such a big deal.”
Meanwhile, Donatella still cites the moment as a turning point in her career.
The blonde fashion legend said: “It was an unexpected success.
“The next day she was everywhere and people were talking about her in that dress. It was one of those moments like the one that Gianni had with Elizabeth Hurley and clothes-pins.”

Fashion chameleon Rita Ora opted for statement Hollywood glamour for the 2018 Grammy Awards.
Channelling her inner Marilyn Monroe, Rita rocked a classic red lip and a couture black velvet gown by Ralph and Russo.
The runway look put Rita’s infamous sex appeal front and centre thanks to the silver detailing on the bust and large slit up the side.
Accentuating her killer pins, the Bang Bang songstress slipped into a pair of black heels as she worked her magic on the red carpet.
Ever the perfectionist, Rita completed her look with 30-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond stud earrings and black nail varnish.
Madonna, 2015

Madonna has never been one to quietly slip into an awards ceremony, but in 2015, even by her standards, she caused a stir.
Joined by superstar DJ and producer Diplo, Madonna – then 56 – raised eyebrows in a black and pink custom corset dress by Givenchy.
Featuring black lace, fishnet tights, PVC and leather, it looked like the Living For Love starlet had raided a dominatrix’s wardrobe.
Clearly feeling herself, the music icon pushed up her chest to sport a cleavage so eye-popping it looked almost painful.
With long PVC gloves and thigh-high heeled boots, Madge posed for waiting cameras with her hands on her hips.
As she turned, she deliberately pulled up the already short skirt to exposed her naked backside.
Revealing she was wearing a leather thong, Madonna promptly caused an international stir.
Joking about the incident, Madonna said: “I had an inspired wardrobe malfunction moment.
“As I was walking away, I wasn’t mooning – I just lifted my dress up. Mooning is like naked butt. Everyone’s seen my naked butt already.”
Katy Perry, 2013

In 2013, the woman of the moment Katy Perry was both a nominee and presenter at the Grammys.
Looking stunning on the red carpet, the Harleys in Hawaii songstress slipped into a figure-hugging lime green number by Gucci.
Shrink-wrapping her curves, Katy showcased her trim frame in the floor-length gown.
Featuring a large cut out section on the front, Katy drew attention to her ample cleavage.
Taking to E! host Ryan Seacrest about her look on the red carpet, Katy said: “I was inspired by Priscilla Presley in the 70s. Married to Elvis Presley of course.”
She joked: “The big hair, closer to God.”
Katy’s outfit was so bold that Ryan’s co-host Giuliana Rancic gasped: “Oh my goodness. How did you focus during that interview. I have never seen her like that.”
Ryan replied: “Well you know Giuliana, when you’re this hight you get a lot of experience staying focused on this eye line.”
Rihanna, 2011

In 2011 Rihanna was at the height of her fame.
The Bajan beauty was riding high off the back of her fifth studio album Loud and mega-hit Only Girl (In The World).
With bright cropped red hair RiRi was always going to make a statement on the carpet but it was her show-stopping gown that really got people talking.
Teaming up with Jean Paul Gaultier, Rihanna dared to bare in a sheer white number.
Featuring repeat white ruffles alongside totally see-through slices, the outfit left almost nothing to the imagination.
In fact, it’s hard to know how Rihanna didn’t end up suffering a major wardrobe malfunction as she appeared to be both braless and knickerless for the evening.
