Noah Cyrus’s angelic look to the Grammys has left fans in hysterics, after drawing comparisons to a “crumpled tissue”.
The 21-year-old singer showed up to the red carpet in the finale look from Schiaparelli’s SS21 Couture collection, a cream low-cut dress showing off a hint of cleavage, with a draped cape spread out behind her.
She paired the gown with a diamond necklace and several chunky rings, with simple makeup and her hair pulled back in an elegant bun.
Noah said she was “obsessed with this look” and that she felt “honoured to be able to wear this piece tonight”.
Noah’s dress drew comparisons with tissues, popcorn and bedsheets
She told E! that putting the dress on made her start crying with joy and said: “My dad texted my mom, ‘She looks like an angel.’ I was like, ‘Thanks dad!'”
“You know that feeling when the alarm sounds at 7am in the morning and you just don’t wanna get out of bed? Well, that’s Noah Cyrus”, said one Twitter user.

A second said: “Is this a “take a bedsheet with you” in case you get tired and find a bed, kind of dress?”
While a third tweeted: “Noah Cyrus has arrived dressed as a piece of popcorn”.
However, the ivy draped gown drew several unflattering comparisons across social media.
Some fans compared her to “bedsheets” and “used tissues” while others described her outfit as a “piece of popcorn”.

Others, however, were left in complete awe of Noah, flocking to social media to compliment the star.
“Okay but did y’all see Noah Cyrus? She looks so stunning.”
While a second added: “Noah Cyrus and her dress is so pretty please she looks stunning.”

Noah is nominated for Best New Artist at the Grammys tonight, her first-ever nomination.
She is up against some stiff competition from Ingrid Andress, Phoebe Bridgers, Chika, D Smoke, Doja Cat, Kaytranada, and Megan Thee Stallion.
Noah joins the ranks of her Grammy-nominated sister, Miley Cyrus and her father, Billy Ray Cyrus, who was nominated for the same category seven years ago.
This makes the father-daughter duo the first in the history of Grammys to earn the same nomination.
Talking on Spotify’s For the Record podcast, Billy Ray offered some advice to his daughter.
“You got to tune out the naysayers. You got to tune it out. Every thought is like a seed,” he said.
“And you just got to plant those positive seeds. It’s the thoughts that I plant in my mind that will be the seeds to the fruit that will manifest in my garden. And remember, music changes everything.”
