Meghan Markle and Harry invited to 'let hair down' in Ibiza after Oprah fallout

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been offered the opportunity to let their hair down after a difficult few months.

The Los Angeles based couple will be welcomed opened arms to Ibiza’s iconic O Beach club VIP style should they jet to the White Isle this summer.

Meghan is known to have a love affair with Ibiza, having enjoyed countless trips there in recent years.

O Beach is set to open its doors again in on May 21 for a summer of partying after the pandemic practically axed holidays to Ibiza last summer.

While launch day is still a few days off, sun and music lovers can already book beds at the venue for it’s infamous parties including Kissstory, Hotbed and Soul Heaven.

Chatting to Daily Star about who he hopes to get down to the club this summer, co-owner Duane Lineker admitted he thinks the venue would be the perfect place for Harry to escape the stress of the past few weeks.

Duane said: “Probably after all the recent press I would say Prince Harry, he sounds like he could do with letting his hair down a bit and get back to his old party days of when he was a bit younger.

“Ibiza can certainly do that for people and O Beach would be welcoming him with open arms and of course, Meghan.”

Meghan and Harry famously jetted out to Ibiza in 2019 for a six day birthday break.

The royal couple celebrated Meghan’s 38th birthday on the White Isle by splashing out on rental of a super yacht just off the island.

In 2016 she was also snapped basking in the Mediterranean sun with pals including Misha Nonoo.

With light finally at the end of the tunnel for the world after 12 months of social distancing, Duane says he can’t wait for his club to be busy once more.

He explained: “The thing I am most looking forward to about O Beach 2021 is seeing the happiness on the customer’s faces again, enjoying the atmosphere of customers who can once again enjoy themselves and create more memories.

“As always our event and artistic team have been hard at work creating some amazing jaw-dropping shows, we have to improve every year to keep that wow factor going and there were some elements we could not unleash for 2020 due to restrictions so 2021 can expect double the excitement for our shows.”

Thanks to its popularity with celebs and influencers, O Beach is on of the most photographed venues on the island.

Everyone from Ed Sheeran to the cast of Love Island have been seen partying away with bottles of Ciroc Vodka and Veuve Champagne on tap.

O Beach will open its doors this May for a summer of partying

Opening up about O Beach’s success, Duane said: “We do love the fact that many of the most famous celebrities love O Beach but just as important to us are our loyal customer base that comes here and has an amazing time, everyone that walks through the door at O Beach should be made to feel like a celeb by our welcoming staff.

“It’s probably a bit early to tell if certain restrictions will still have to be in place, but we are confident that it will be very close to normality again by the summer, following the UK’s plan to get back to normality and we are sure Spain and Ibiza won’t be far behind.

“I’m looking forward to the day we can all mix freely and not have to worry about masks and social distancing again.”
