Katie Price slams Loose Women for using her 'like a performing seal'

Katie Price has let rip at Loose Women bosses – accusing them of using her as a performing seal.

Katie was a full-time panellist on the hit ITV daytime show from 2016 before they parted ways.

Now the 42-year-old says she “feels sick” thinking about her time on the hot desk.

Speaking frankly, the mum-of-five told Annie MacManus’ Changes podcast: “I was doing Loose Women for two years. When I look back at that it makes me feel sick.

“Because those two years were bad. Bad, bad, mentally. Bad bad bad.

“But I still went out there and put on a brave face.

“I look at it and think: ‘Oh my god.’

“I look at my eyes on it and think I look dead in my eyes. Because all the drama came out.”

A rep for ITV and Loose Women declined to comment.

During the period she was on the show, Katie’s life was turned upside down after her mum Amy was diagnosed with a terminal lung disease.

She was also continuing to battle day to day problems with raising her disabled son Harvey.

Her third marriage to Kieran Hayler also broke down when she was a Loose Women regular.

After Daily Star broke the news Katie had told pals her “marriage was over” during a boozy night out in London, the former glamour model appeared on the show to slam reports and posted a flurry of loved-up snaps of herself and Kieran online.

Only a few months later she gave a sit-down chat to a newspaper where she admitted her marriage was in fact over and she had found out Kieran had been cheating on her.

Slamming those working on Loose Women, Katie continued: “I feel like saying to them: ‘You had me on your show when I was at my illest.

“But now I am fresh you wouldn’t offer me that back again. I am not saying they wouldn’t but they wouldn’t at the minute.

“And I feel like saying. This is me now. You’ll get the best out of me now.

“You had me at my worst. You had me when mentally I was really going through it. Which is weird because some people wouldn’t have you on the show like: ‘No you are not well enough’. In fact, I wasn’t well.

“I wasn’t well but I was still able to perform like a seal.”
