Chloe Ferry and Wayne would be an amazing couple, admits their BFF Tom Zanetti

DJ Tom Zanetti has opened up about his former Celebs Go Dating co-stars Chloe Ferry and Wayne Lineker – as rumours swirl about the status of their relationship.

While the duo took to Instagram last month to claim they were engaged, fans are convinced it’s simply a lighthearted joke to wind them up.

That being said, Tom, whose latest single Didn’t Know is on the cusp of breaking into the official UK Top 40, insists he thinks they would be an amazing couple if they did ever decide to give things a go.

Chatting to Daily Star, the You Want Me hitmaker said: “Yeah, I think they would make an amazing couple.

“They are both as crazy as each other and yeah, they would make a great couple. She is wild.”

Tom previous joked on Instagram the duo asked him to be Best Man for the big day.

Commenting on a shot of the pair, the musician wrote: “Thank you for giving me honour of the best man, really can’t wait for the special day.”

As for his own love-life, the ripped lad insists he is taking things slow with Made In Chelsea babe Sophie Hermann.

Tom said: “I didn’t go in there [Celebs Go Dating] to find a girlfriend or to find love or anything like that.

“I didn’t even get my haircut. I had never even seen the show. Not even an episode.

“I didn’t watch it on purpose as I thought I will just go in and I’ll see what happens.

“It was all mental but it was class.

“There were no phones and no TV for the whole time we were there so all we could do was have good conversation and vibe off people.”

He added: “Obviously with Sophie, I speak to her every day.

“We are not official but we are just enjoying time with each other.

“We’re not putting a label on it just yet as we’ve not had much time to see each other.

“We’ve both had relationships that didn’t work out so we just don’t want to rush anything.

“I’d rather become someone’s best friend and then we can see where we are going to go.”

Teasing new music for the summer, Tom said: “I have hundreds and hundreds of ideas in my voice notes.

“I keep wanting to do make a day where I can just sit and go through all the ideas I have got but I’ve just not had the time.

“I have a few very big singles to put out this year.

“I have some big collaborations with some very big artists, some of the biggest in the UK and some world-renowned. Some of the biggest DJs in the world.

“The plan is to put them out and then maybe next year I will put an album together.

“They are really quite crazy. With the links ups, I don’t even know how it happened. I want to get into a place where I just say ‘right, I would love to work with this singer or rapper’.”
