Jake Quickenden has gushed over becoming a dad for the first time.
The TV regular admits he can’t stop showing off his adorable son, even if a number of vile trolls have targeted him online.
The X Factor wannabe turned Dancing On Ice champion took to Instagram to share a video of his son Leo Oliver looking around the room wide eyed.
Dressed in a cute baby grow, the newborn already sports a full head of hair.
Proud dad Jake wrote to his 890,000 followers: “I can’t stop staring at him…. sorry for the over posting but I’m just so in love…”
The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! star continued: “Five weeks on Friday!! Little warrior!!
“Also thanks for all the support over the last week! Social media can be a dark place, but it’s also full of amazing people!! #dad #baby #babyboy #family #love.”
Jake has had to deal with trolls mocking his son’s appearance in recent weeks, though did reveal one troll got in contract to personally apologise for calling Leo ‘ugly’.
Hours later Jake uploaded a snap of himself in the kitchen holding his son.
Both of them were rocking fleece tracksuits.
Jake wrote: “Don’t mind us just here dressing the same!!
“Didn’t get much sleep last night little man fancied pulling an all nighter, turns out he’s already like me.
“Just know I’ve always got you, I will move heaven and earth to protect you, I will teach you all the lessons you need, respect, love, consent, manners. Love you.”
Jake and girlfriend Sophie Church welcomed Leo in February this year.
In a nod to Jake’s later brother Ollie who tragically passed away when they were youngster, they gave Leo the middleman Oliver.
A friend told The Sun at the time: “Jake and Sophie are absolutely over-the-moon with their little boy.
“Both mum and baby are doing great and after a few hours of being watched over they’re now all back at home.
“Jake is totally besotted with his lad and it’s clear he is going to be a doting father. He is amazing with Sophie’s son Freddie and it’s clear he was made to be a father.
“They’ve kept the tot’s name under wraps for know but Jake has said they have given him the middle name Oliver – in tribute to his brother.
“It’s a really wonderful day and everyone is just so excited for them.”
