Ross Barton faced his fair share of saucy romances on Emmerdale, but now actor Mike Parr is considering making steamy scenes a full-time pursuit.
The 34-year-old soap star was offered a role in the adult film industry this week, leading Mike to claim he was considering trying his hand at pornographic acting.
With the coronavirus pandemic putting the entertainment industry on hold, Mike found he was struggling to get work over the past year.
An adult film company contacted him, interested in recruiting him to film pornographic scenes for an upcoming London shoot.
Mike shared the conversation over Instagram, with the company writing: “Mike hello.
“Would you be interested in a porn opportunity, with a UK based professionally run company with a large share of the market?
“If so get back to me and I will send you the details, it is based in London where you are. Thanks.”
In the caption below, Mike suggested he was considering the offer, making light of his struggle to find acting gigs over the past year.
“I WILL TAKE IT!!!…” he said.
“After a year of not working this is actually looking like the only option I have left :).”
Mike’s actor friends were on board with the idea, with his fellow soap stars taking to the comment section below to give him their support.
“Do it. Be mint experience. And one for the book,” Jack P Shepherd wrote, having made a name for himself as Coronation Street’s David Platt.
Mike’s Emmerdale co-star Amy Walsh chimed: “I’ll give you a refund in the form of 5 dollars!”
“Why not,” wondered Kelvin Fletcher, who left the cast of Emmerdale five years ago.
Mike’s own Emmerdale exit is still fresh on fans’ minds – the Merseyside-born star left the soap in 2018 when his character Ross suddenly moved to Liverpool for a new life.
His son, Moses Dingle, still remains on the soap, with Ross vowing to help raise him from afar in his closing scenes.

During his five-year stint on Emmerdale, Mike was a hit with fans, scooping up the dongs for Best Bad Boy and Sexiest Male at the 2015 Inside Soap Awards.
Since leaving the soap, Mike landed a role on the Sky One police drama Bulletproof, playing Ben Woodall in the second season of the London-based series.
He previously suggested he wanted to head to Los Angeles to pursue a Hollywood acting career, but the pandemic appears to have put a damper on those plans.
