Gogglebox stars Shirley and Dave Griffiths, left Channel 4 fans collecting their jaws from the floor as they took to their joint Twitter page to share an unearthed throwback.
The Welsh couple who are now in their 60s looked totally unrecognisable in the snap that was uncovered from their archives.
Age-defying Shirley still boasted the same smile and complexion, however her jet black and permed locks made her appear totally different.
But the lovable Dave could have easily passed for someone else as fans even questioned on social media if it was even him in the old pic.

One fan wrote: “Now I can tell that’s Shirley but Dave I wouldn’t have recognised.”
A second asked: “Is that really dave? He looks like from the early 40s Buddy Holly times. Or was that the 50s? Shirley you look amazing. Not saying dave doesn’t look amazing.”
Another joked: “Dave you where punching.”

If the nostalgic image is anything to go by it would appear that the Caerphilly couple have always been a barrel of laughs.
The pair seemed to be enjoying a night out on the town and looked all glam for the occasion.

Dave meanwhile looked very suave, wearing a smart grey jacket that was teamed with a black shirt.
It’s really no wonder that the duo were smiling from ear-to-ear as they posed for the happy picture in front of a table that was absolutely brimming with pints of beer.
With pubs on everyone’s minds at the moment, with boozers opening for business again today amid the coronavirus pandemic, it wasn’t long before eagle-eyed fans pinpointed their wild night out.
“Shirley that’s a lot of pints of beer you were getting through,” joked one person.
“What a great pic lol you guys were having a ball living life,” added a second.
While a third gasped: “Wow look at those dimples – boy you two can drink.”
On the television reviewing programme the Welsh couple are most loved for their down to earth nature.
Fan seem to particularly enjoy Dave’s sexual charisma as he often attempts to make Shirley blush with some steamy remarks.
