Emma Watson has always maintained a mystery to her love life and kept her sexual endeavours out of the spotlight but here and there over the years, she has given a cheeky insight into that side of her life.
The 30-year-old, who rose to fame playing Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter films, spilt on how she once had a crush on co-star Tom Felton who played Draco Malfoy.
She’s also opened up on her kink culture obsession, how she is “self-partnered” and once subscribed for sex tips so she could better her bedroom game.
Here’s a look back at the outspoken feminist’s cheekiest confessions over the years…
Paid for pleasure site to improve sex life
In 2016, while speaking at the How to Academy talk in London event hosted by Gloria Steinem, Emma opened up on how she was paying for a sexual pleasure research site’s subscription.
The site in question was OMGYES.com which is a website dedicated to seeing what science says about women’s pleasure.
Emma said she used the site to learn how to get better in bed.
Talking to Gloria at the Emmanuel Centre, Emma confessed that the site had been recommended by her friend.
“I wish it had been around longer,” she said. “Definitely check it out.”
Emma recalled how the fee was a whopping £40 but “worth it”.
She said: “It’s an expensive subscription but it’s worth it.”
OMGYES claims it “is an entirely new way to explore fascinating, useful and fun information that’s been uncovered in new research”.
She’s fascinated by kink culture
Emma admitted during a chat with Teen Vogue in March 2020 that she has “become slightly fascinated by kink culture”.
During a chat with author Valerie Hudson, Emma spoke of the importance of consent, and communication in romantic relationships.
She said: “I’ve also kind of become slightly fascinated by kink culture because they are the best communicators ever. They know all about consent.
“They smash that stuff because they really have to get it, but we could all use those models; they’re actually really helpful models.”
She continued: “It requires an actual conversation and agreement about the delegation of tasks and labour and responsibilities that maybe you don’t feel that you need to have or should have if you follow those traditional stereotypes.”
Emma went on to say she believes same-sex couples have the healthiest relationships she has ever seen.
“I think they have to sit down and agree [on] things,” Watson explained. “They agree [on] things between them as opposed to [accepting] certain sets of assumptions and expectations that are made.”
Crush on co-star
Most girls have a crush on the bad boy Harry Potter character who was played by Tom Felton – including Emma who admits she fancied the actor while working together for the first year.
At the time, Emma was 10/11 and Tom was a few years older playing her arch enemy.
Emma previously confessed to Mirror Online that she fancied the star during Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone.
She told the publication: “Between the ages of ten and twelve I had a really terrible crush on Tom Felton, to the extent that I would go into work in the morning and look down the numbers on the call sheet to see if he was going to be in.
“We love a bad guy, he was a few years older and he had a skateboard – and that just did it really.
“He totally knew [she had a crush on him] and the thing is that he’d tell everyone, ‘I see her in a younger, sisterly way,’ and it just broke my heart. It still does.”

During an interview with Vogue in 2019, the actress – who was set to turn 30 shortly after it was published – talked about her fears for reaching the milestone.
She said: “I never believed the whole ‘I’m happy single’ spiel… it took me a long time, but I’m very happy [being single]- I call it being self-partnered.”
Emma discussed her fears about turning 30 due to the “b****y influx of subliminal messaging” implying a woman should have “a husband, baby and stable career”.
She added: “I was like, ‘Why does everyone make such a big fuss about turning 30? This is not a big deal’, cut to 29, and I’m like, ‘Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious’.”
