According to a recent poll, fans of Good Morning Britain are continuing to switch off in their masses following the departure of Piers Morgan last month.
The news reader, 56, had been at the helm for five years before furiously storming off set after going head-to-head with weatherman Alex Beresford following a clash over the bombshell Meghan Markle interview with Oprah Winfrey.
Since his swift exit, Susanna Reid, 50, has been joined by a number of stand-in presenters who are no doubt hoping to replace Piers, however results would suggest that his boots are proving hard to fill.
The figures also detailed that 79 percent of fans wouldn’t be surprised if the ITV programme was now pulled off air.

The questionnaire that was undertaken by Express.co.uk saw more than three-quarters of it’s readers vote that the show should be cancelled, now that the outspoken anchorman isn’t at the forefront.
The survey was conducted in a bid to understand if the TV programme had been affected by the Life Stories star’s departure.

The results also show that 41 percent of people who took part in the poll said they only tuned in if Piers had been hosting.
Of the voters who took part, 37 percent claimed to watch the ITV programme every day, with 23 percent adding that they did not watch it at all.
More significantly, 79 percent of Express.co.uk’s audience explained that they had completely switched off now that Piers was no longer on screens in the morning.

The survey also asked readers if GMB should be cancelled now that Susanna’s on-screen husband is no longer part of the team, of which 69 percent of readers agreed that this should happen.
With viewers switching off in their masses, ITV chiefs are continuing the the hunt to find a suitable replacement to work alongside Susanna.
It would seem that Sean Fletcher, 47, Alex Beresford, 40, Adil Ray, 46, Matthew Wright, 55, and Bill Turnbull, 65 could all be in with a fighting chance of taking over.
Although, others such as Jeremy Kyle, 55, Ben Shephard, 46, Richard Madeley, 64, and Eamonn Holmes, 61, are alleged to have all made the shortlist too.
