Shrek fans have been left stunned after discovering the hit family film contains crude adults only jokes.
One eagle-eyed fan of the lovable ogre films noticed that in the original movie Lord Farquaad makes a cheeky comment about Princess Fiona.
In the clip which has gone viral on TikTok, the arrogant Lord can be seen shirtless in bed as he enjoys a martini.
The pint-sized character then asks his magic mirror to see him an image of Princess Fiona.
Farquaad says: Mirror, mirror show her to me. Show me the princess.”
The mirror reluctantly agrees and flashes up her image.
As the image of the Princess is shown on the screen, the Lord sips his drink and brands her perfect.
He then appears to pull an awkward face as the bedsheets move.
While the moment is barely seconds long, fans think it was a deliberate move by cheeky producers to insinuate he had got an erection.
The TikTok clip was captioned: “Did anyone catch that?”
The post was quickly met with a flurry of shocked responses from fans.
One person user wrote: “”Why? Why did they do that? Who agreed to animate that?”
Another added: “I will never forgive you for this.”
A third chimed in: “I’m not at all innocent but I am traumatised after this and understanding it now.”
Meanwhile, a fourth jokingly moaned: “I know what I will bring up in my next therapy session now.”
Shrek was released in 2001 and quickly soared to the top of the box office.
The film was quickly followed up with Shrek 2 in 2004 and a third film in 2007.
A final fourth film titled Shrek Forever After arrived in 2010.
