All rumoured Love Island 2021 contestants so far – from doctor to boxer

Love Island is making a highly anticipated return to screens soon, after last year’s summer edition was cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Luckily, ITV confirmed Love Island will return this summer for what will be the reality show’s seventh series.

However, the broadcaster has not yet confirmed who will be in the final line-up just yet.

But that doesn’t mean people haven’t already started speculating who might be joining Love Island 2021.

The summer series of Love Island usually kicks off in June, with the line-up announced a few days before – but some names do slip out before then.

As we wait for the series to start, we take a look at who we might see in the villa this year.

Toluwa Adepeju

Junior doctor Toluwa Adepeju, who worked 70-hour weeks during the height of the coronavirus pandemic, is rumoured to be a contestant on this year’s series.

Toluwa regularly updates his 11.4K Instagram followers on what he is doing on the frontline.

Talking about the junior doctor’s appearance on the show, an ITV source said: “He’s led from the very front – in hospital and online, educating people of the risks and the need to get vaccinated.

“He is the perfect pick. He’s modest, down to earth and loves what he does.”

James Price

Love Island bosses have reportedly lined up Chelsea party boy James Price for the new series.

The 23-year-old recruitment consultant has previously tried to pursue former Love Island star Lucie Donlan, before she found fame on the reality show.

A source told MailOnline: “James is in final talks with producers and they’re really keen on signing him this year.

“He’s cheeky, fun and handsome – and will be a sure-fire hit with the female contestants, while he’s also on the lookout for his dream girl.

“Lucie Donlan is his type on paper, he’s even tried to pursue her in the past.

“While James is from Worcester, his group of friends reside in Fulham and he spent a lot of time before the pandemic partying in Chelsea.”

Alexis Bailey

Fire-eating beauty queen Alexis Bailey is reportedly set to join the cast of Love Island.

The 21-year-old found success as one of Wayne Lineker’s Dream Dolls in his popular Ibiza club.

A source told The Sun: “She loves sex and is always talking about it. She’s very open about it but is incredibly likeable and loves to party.

“There are no limits as far as she is concerned and she very much wears her heart on her sleeve. It’s fair to say she will bring some heat to the villa.”

Harley Benn

Love Island’s casting team have reportedly signed boxing champion Nigel Benn’s son Harley for the 2021 series.

The 24-year-old is believed to have conducted “video meetings” with “excited” ITV producers.

An insider claimed to The Sun: “Harley’s already got a huge following and gets loads of attention from the girls.

“He’s had video meetings with the casting team and everyone is very excited at the prospect of having him on the show.”

Love Island representatives previously said “no decisions” have been made at this stage.
