BRIT Awards fans praise Dua Lipa as she slams Boris Johnson during iconic speech

Pop star Dua Lipa told Prime Minister Boris Johnson to give our NHS frontline workers as pay rise as she picked up the Best Female Solo Artist gong at Tuesday night’s BRIT Awards ceremony.

The 25-year-old singer scooped the award for the second year in a row and was delighted with her win.

As she thanked her family and team for their support, the brunette beauty went on to praise the NHS workers who had worked throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

She said: “There’s a massive disparity between gratitude and respect for frontline workers.

“It’s all very well to clap for them but we need to PAY them.

“We should send a message to Boris that we all support a fair pay rise for our front line.”

Viewers rushed to their keyboards to discuss Dua’s passionate speech.

Taking to Twitter, one fan penned: “Can I be more of a Dua Lipa fan after this speech? Well I am now! Give front line workers a raise.”

A second person wrote: “Dua Lipa has just said to an audience of key workers that Boris should give them a pay rise. And they clapped & cheered! The revolution starts here!”

Dua led the celebrity entrances on the red carpet tonight at the BRITs 2021 – and she brought the heat with her steamy outfit.

The Don’t Start Now hitmaker was among the first to rock up on the BRITs red carpet tonight and she made quite the entrance.

She was spotted in a tiny, plunging golden gown along with stockings as she hit her confident poses for the cameras.

Dua later had a quick outfit change and performed a medley on her hits in front of the 4,000 strong crowd.

The star-studded bash is the latest addition to the Events Research Programme, which examines how venues and events can reopen safely.
