Little Mix's Perrie and Leigh-Anne display baby bumps in angelic gowns at BRITs

Little Mix came home big winners tonight but it was their entrance at the 2021 BRIT Awards that stole the show.

Their arrival marked the first time fans were able to see Perrie Edwards and Leigh-Anne Pinnock baby bumps since they first announced their pregnancies this week.

The two singers and fellow bandmate Jade Thirlwall all stood out on the red carpet in matching white dresses.

Perrie wore a white, flowing skirt that gave a sneak peak of her midriff and emphasised her blossoming tummy, while Leigh-Anne opted for a sheer, organza dress with a quirky pattern and cradled her bump.

Proud ‘Auntie’ Jade wore a stunning, draped white gown that sparkled in the light, as fans at home compared the three girls to “angels”.

Leigh-Anne, 29, announced her pregnancy last week, taking to Instagram to post some gorgeous snaps of her and footballer partner Andre Grey, writing: “We’ve dreamed about this moment for so long and we can’t believe the dream is finally coming true… we can’t wait to meet you.”

Perrie wasn’t far behind, with the 27-year-old also announcing days later that she will be having her first child with footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

She also made the announcement on Instagram with a black and white photo, writing: “So happy to be on this wild journey with my soulmate… Me + Him = You… We can’t wait to meet you baby Ox!”

The girl band made history tonight as the first female act to win Best British Group.

Together the girls made an emotional winning speech where they thanked former bandmate Jesy Nelson, who quit the band last year.

Leigh-Anne said: “”We want to start by thanking our incredible fans. Of course Jesy.”

The group also included an inspiring message about being women in the music industry.

They said: ”We’ve seen the white male dominance, misogyny, sexism and lack of diversity. We’re proud of how we’ve stuck together, stood our ground, surrounded ourselves with strong women, and are now using our voices more than ever.

“The fact that a girl band has never won this award really does speak volumes.

“So this award isn’t just for us, it’s for the Spice Girls , Sugababes, All Saints, Girls Aloud , all of the incredible, incredible female bands, this one’s for you”.
