Katie Price’s son Harvey has been nominated for a major award following the success from his BBC documentary that was released earlier this year.
Harvey has been shortlisted for the prestigious Celebrity of the Year Award at the National Diversity Awards, with winners being announced in February 2022.
Sharing a post on Instagram, Anna Kennedy OBE revealed the exciting news on Tuesday while tagging both Katie and Harvey in the post.
Anna captioned her Instagram post: “Congratulations our #Antibullying Charity Ambassador @officialmrharveyprice Go Harvey Good Luck @ndawards.”
But this wasn’t the only reason Anna was overjoyed. The nomination shed more light on her autism charity, Anna Kennedy Online, which Harvey is also an ambassador for.
Proud as ever mum of five, Katie, also shared Anna’s post on her Instagram page too.
In January, BBC one aired the emotional documentary, Katie Price: Harvey and Me which provided viewers with further insight into Harvey’s health condition and becoming an adult.
Harvey has Prader-Willi syndrome and Septo-optic Dysplasia, a rare genetic disorder that affects his eyesight, as well as autism and behavioural problems.
Following on from the success of the BBC documentary, Harvey and his best friend Zack who also featured in the programme are in talks to land their very own reality show, according to reports.
Talking to The Sun, a source said: “The plan is to follow the friends and film their experiences together.
“It will also raise awareness and give hope to kids with disabilities. It’s a positive and inclusive move. They get on really well together and enjoy being on camera.”
A spokesperson for the former glamour model seemed to also confirm that “talks” regarding the project is currently underway.
Talking to The Sun, the spokesperson said: “I can confirm that talks are underway for this exciting project with Harvey and Zack.”
Though television seems to be calling Harvey’s name, this isn’t the only project the teen has under his belt.
The 18-year-old recently launched an anti-bullying clothing range in order to raise more awareness of online trolling and bullying. The collection also coincides with Katie’s campaign against trolling.
Harvey’s clothing Uptheir is an online clothes retailer with a mission to design stylish loungewear and activewear for all sizes.
