This Morning star Holly Willoughby could be set to take to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom later this year
The 40-year-old television presenter is known for showing off her moves by the Spin To Win wheel each morning on the ITV daytime show.
However, she may be about to twist and shout on the BBC dancing competition.
Strictly professional Giovanni Pernice recently named Holly as his “dream partner” and he believes she would be “amazing” on the show
The suggestion was put to Italian dance champion Giovanni by co-star Anton DuBeke, with whom he is appearing in dance tour Him & Me.
He said: “Who would I pick for Giovanni? If it was a same-sex partner… Luke Evans. Or, I know who would be great… Holly Willoughby.”
Giovanni replied: “I would love to dance with Holly Willoughby on the show. We would have so much fun and she would do amazing.”
Holly has previously expressed an interest in taking to the Strictly dancefloor before, telling Giovanni: “You know I love the show, I’m a massive fan.”
Her This Morning co-host Phillip Schofield has also insisted that Holly “can dance” and reckons she would be “great” in the ballroom.
Bookies have since slashed the mother of three’s odds of appearing to just 3-1.
Jessica O’Reilly of Ladbrokes said: “Signing up Holly for Strictly would be a huge coup for the BBC.
“It goes without saying fans would love to see the nation’s sweetheart tackle the tango as well as This Morning.”
Giovanni partnered Holly’s ITV college Ranvir Singh on the show last year.
The couple finished in fourth place and just missed out on a place in the semi-final.
Bill Bailey and Oti Mabuse were crowned the winners of the 2020 edition of the dancing competition.
It was the second time South African beauty Oti had won the show with a celebrity partner.
