George Michael's ex 'lands payout after suing his family for £15k a month'

George Michael’s ex partner Kenny Goss has reportedly won a payout after suing for £15,000 a month from the star’s £98m fortune.

The pair met at a Los Angeles restaurant in 1988 and were together for 13 years.

But the 62-year-old Texan was left out of the singer’s will and has been battling for support since his death in December 2016.

He was suing the star’s sister and dad and wanted a monthly sum, according to reports last year.

Now, the Mirror claims he has been successful – but the amount won has not been disclosed.

The former art dealer reportedly claimed he gave up his career to look after the Careless Whisper hitmaker for years.

Sources close to Kenny said he was “effectively a stay-at-home husband” and was entirely supported financially by him.

Wham! star George’s family were said to be furious with the claim, but have now agreed a settlement to end the battle without a public court fight.

Documents filed at the High Court say the case has now been settled on a “confidential” basis.

An order signed off by a judge, Master Francesca Kaye, says the terms of the settlement are secret and that copies of the details are held by lawyers.

“All further proceedings in the claim be stayed except for the purpose of carrying the terms of the confidential schedule into effect,” she states.

George’s then-partner Fadi Fawaz was also excluded from the will.

The superstar singer continues to make money more than five years after his heartbreaking Christmas Day death.

His recording and music publishing company making £4.3m alone in 2019.

Kenny was suing under the Inheritance (Provisions for Family and Dependents) Act 1975.

It allows those who were financially dependent on someone to claim from their estate, even if they are not mentioned in the will.
