Emmerdale fans confused as Gabby's baby bump goes 'missing' amid Kim poisoning

Emmerdale’s Gabby Thomas is set to welcome another Tate to the village, having fallen pregnant with Jamie Tate’s baby after a one night stand.

However, certain Emmerdale fans have wondered whether she is faking the pregnancy, after realising she has yet to start showing.

Gabby (Rosie Bentham) opened up about her pregnancy in February of this year, but three months later and the Yorkshire teen shows no sign of a bump.

It’s normal for a woman’s bump to start showing between 12 and 16 weeks into the pregnancy, meaning Gabby’s absence of a bump is perfectly normal.

Regardless, the missing bump left certain fans asking questions – especially in the midst of Kim Tate’s mysterious poisoning.

Some fans noticed Gabby Thomas has yet to show any signs of pregnancy

The Tate matriarch, played by Claire King, is being poisoned by a member of her camp, but their identity remains a mystery.

Gabby has been acting shifty lately, even snatching up Kim’s diary on Friday evening when she left the room, taking her place at her desk.

Feeling suspicious, certain Emmerdale fans took to Twitter to remark over Gabby’s pregnancy, wondering whether there is a scheme afoot.

Gabby stole Kim’s notebook and took a seat at her desk when she went home

“Shouldn’t Gabby be showing by now?” wondered one.

A second agreed: “She’s been pregnant for ages, but no tummy.”

While a third weighed in: “Is Gabby actual pregnant? #Emmerdale.”

When Kim first learned Gabby was expecting, she took her under her wing, inviting her to live at Home Farm and helping her to prepare for motherhood.

However, recent scenes have seen Gabby get on Kim’s nerves, as her efforts to impress the shrewd businesswoman fall flat.

Someone has been secretly poisoning Kim Tate – but who?

Ahead of the pregnancy storyline, actress Claire King opened up about Gabby’s threat to Kim’s empire, hinting there will be chaos to come.

Speaking to Daily Star and assorted press, she said: “I think she [Kim] could be underestimating Gabby considerably.

“I think there’s quite a bit of potential there for there to be a real battle on for Home Farm.”

How far will Gabby go to get what she wants?

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an extra helping on Thursdays at 8pm.
