Tipping Point Lucky Stars featured an 80s special during Sunday night’s instalment as Toyah Willcox, Reverend Richard Coles, and Sharon Davis took to the podiums to try and win some money for their chosen charities.
However, ITV viewers were left instantly puzzled by how “small” 62-year-old music star Toyah appeared to look next to the other contestants.
While former Gladiator and Olympic swimmer Sharon seemed taller than average, towering over the Reverend in her heels, Toyah seemed even tinier because she was at the end of the panel.
Wearing a pretty floral maxi dress and kitten heels with her signature blonde locks styled in a short cropped style, Toyah didn’t manage to get very far in the game hosted by Ben Shephard.
Taking to Twitter to discuss whether their eyes had deceived them, a number of viewers were confused by how “tiny” the presenter and actress seemed.
“Ben trying to spot tiny Toyah all the way at the end there!! #TippingPoint,” one fan joked.
Another observed: “Toyah Wilcox is only small isn’t she #TippingPoint.”
“Is Toyah small or just far away? #TippingPoint,” a third viewer pondered.
One person helpfully chimed in with Toyah’s actual height to try and clear up the confusion.
“She’s 1.54 m or 5ft 1 inch,” they offered, as another watcher was left disappointed by the news.
“I was about to comment on how tiny Toyah is but she’s 2 inches taller than me 🙁 #tippingpoint,” they added sadly.
Others thought the 80s superstar, who sang hit tracks such as I Want To Be Free and It’s A Mystery, was looking fabulous for her age.
“Toyah looks incredible #tippingpoint,” one fan clapped in appreciation, as another posted: “Toyah’s cute isn’t she.”
Despite that, the celebrity contestant failed to get much money in her pot and she was the first to be knocked out on the show.
Sharon performed valiantly but couldn’t hope to beat the exceptional Rev Coles, who even impressed Ben with his efforts.
“I don’t think I’ve seen anyone get that much money at this stage in the game,” the presenter commented halfway through.
But the Reverend went even further and scored the lucky mystery counter just as the game came to an end, winning £20,000 for his charity Parkinson’s UK.
Tipping Point continues weekdays at 4pm on ITV.
