Piers Morgan has revealed that he has received the second dose of the coronavirus vaccine.
The 56-year-old TV host – who left his position on the breakfast show after a row over Meghan Markle earlier this year – shared the update with his fans on Saturday.
He praised the centre in Chelsea where he had received the jab and alongside the caption, could be seen with his thumbs up whilst being vaccinated.
Former newspaper editor Piers wrote in view of 1.7 million Instagram followers: “BREAKING: Double-jabbed & fully vaccinated…
“In and out of the Violet Melchett Centre in Chelsea in 5 minutes. Amazing!
“Thanks to all the medics & volunteers there, such an efficient operation, and such a vital one. Your nation is very grateful,” Piers added.
The former GMB star was given the first of his two jabs back in March.
It comes just days after he told NHS workers who refuse to have the vaccine they should not be allowed to return to their jobs.
Earlier this week, the former GMB presenter hit out at those who opted not to take the jab.

“People who refuse to get jabbed but whine about lockdowns really are a special breed of stupid selfish pr*cks,” he said.
The tweet has since received nearly 40k retweets on the social media site, with many coming out in support of Piers’ view point.
It’s not the first time the outspoken ITV favourite has hit out at those who weren’t taking up the opportunity to be vaccinated.
Piers previously criticised frontline workers who refuse to be vaccinated and claimed they should not be banned from work.
He said: “NHS and Care Home workers who refuse to have the vaccine should not be allowed to go into work until the pandemic is over.
“Just extraordinary how many are apparently declining this basic protection to spreading the virus in the most vulnerable places.
He added: “Jab up, or stay home.”
Elsewhere this week, Piers has been building up momentum over his upcoming interview with leader of the Labour Party, Sir Keir Starmer.
He shared a picture with Sir Keir “in the hot seat” before updating fans on how the discussion had gone.
Piers teased: “UPDATE: This was a sensational interview.
“Nearly three hours with the man who wants to run the country and he left nothing in the locker…”
