The new series of the popular home renovation show, Your Home Made Perfect, seemed to definitely kick off with a bang as fans were excited about the programme’s return.
On Monday night viewers couldn’t wait to tune in to the BBC Two programme which shows families how they can transform their problematic pads into heavenly homes by using virtual visualisations to demonstrate how their home could potentially look.
Fans couldn’t wait to share their excitement about the show’s return and took to Twitter to air their views.
One fan said: “Your Home Made Perfect – love it.”
Another said: “Looking forward to tonight…Your Home Made Perfect.”
“Obsessed with #YourHomeMadePerfect!” chimed a third, while a fourth wrote: “#YourHomeMadePerfect I love everything about this show! So glad it’s back!”
While another went even further and expressed how “wholesome” the programme is overall.
“I know there’s loads of property shows on TV but if you’ve not watched it, ‘Your Home Made Perfect’ on BBC2 is a cracker. No false drama, no annoying ‘personalities’. Just people making their house nice who are really happy afterwards. Really wholesome stuff,” they penned.
On Monday’s show housing officer Shelley and her cab driver husband Steven were looking to remodel their semi-detached home in South London.
The couple felt they had outgrown their home and their sons no longer deemed it as a practical living space.
In desperate need of a home revamp, Steven and Shelley expressed their anguish with their current living situation and explained what they would like to hopefully achieve.
Trying to win the couple over with their breath-taking designs, architects Laura Jane Clark and Julian McIntosh demonstrated to the pair what their homes could look like by using VR software to illustrate renovations.
With a budget of £100,000, the couple had a lot of money to play with.
After they were shown the designs, Shelley and Steven were completely blown away by the architect’s work but decided to go with Julian’s idea.
The end result lived up to expectations, however, the couple later admitted that they did spend a lot more than they expected.
The total cost for the home renovations came to a staggering £150,000.
But the happy couple expressed that they were happy with the results, as they changed every room in the house.
