The Inbetweeners reunion confirmed – but Emily Atack won't be part of it

Forget the Friends reunion… a Fwends reunion is on the cards!

Hot TV can reveal The Inbetweeners are getting back together.

Simon Bird, Blake Harrison, Joe Thomas and James Buckley have agreed to a joint appearance at Comic Con in November.

An event insider said: “Having the cast reunite for the event is a massive deal.

“We know a lot of people have often called for them to get back together and reunite for a massive public event, so we are glad we can do that.

“Fans won’t want to miss it.”

The actors will be chatting about the success of The Inbetweeners in a special Q&A in Liverpool.

Our source added: “We are hoping they will spill some behind-the-scenes secrets.”

Fans of the show will also get the chance to pose for photos with them.

It will be the first time the four lads have appeared together since one-off show Fwends Reunited on Channel 4 in early 2019.

The special was panned by both critics and viewers, but there are still plenty of people desperate to see them back on telly.

The Inbetweeners ran for three series on E4 and spawned two hilarious films.

It was a ratings sensation, bagged a truckload of awards and turned its stars into household names.

But the lads have ruled out filming any more episodes.

James, who played gobby Jay, said: “There definitely will never be any more Inbetweeners.”

Simon, who played nerdy Will, reckons they are too old to do more.

He said: “The dynamic of having the four of them back together as men would be so different that it would no longer be The Inbetweeners.

“I think a lot of people would be disappointed.”

A new episode couldn’t be any worse than This Time With Alan Partridge. Come on, lads!
