Inside EastEnders star Adam Woodyatt's luxury £93k motorhome with heated floor

Adam Woodyatt, who has played iconic character Ian Beale on EastEnders for 35 years, has been living the high life as he drives around the UK in a luxury motorhome.

The actor, 52, has been touring around the country in his campervan whilst enjoying a break from the famous BBC soap – where he’s famous for going broke as Ian and declaring: “I’ve got nothing left!”.

The star’s fancy motorhome is worth a whopping £93,000 according to a spokesperson from motorhome company Bürstner – so clearly Ian’s got something left in the bank!

Swapping the hustle and bustle of London’s streets for rural life, the actor has been sharing his journey with his Instagram followers by posting delightful photos of his countryside travels.

Adam first teased his motorhome life in April on Instagram after sharing a photo of a pheasant and a bird, calling them his “neighbours”.

Since April, the actor has gone on to treat his fans to a range of pleasant travel snaps, such as sprawling fields, fishing trips, boats docked in harbours, and hills which he’s cycled up.

Earning his holiday, Adam is EastEnders’ longest-surviving cast member – having been a regular on Albert Square since the show started in 1985.

The actor has also had some tough personal experiences such as divorcing his wife Beverley Sharp last year – his wife of 22 years.

Adam was also set to grace the stage with his theatre show Looking Good Dead from January this year, but unfortunately due to lockdown restrictions the show has been postponed until July.

And if you think Adam will be giving up his cracking campervan, you’re wrong, as the star has revealed he’ll be taking it with him on his theatre tour.

Adam told Zoe Ball’s Radio 2 show: “I’ve got a motorhome ready for the tour so I won’t have to worry about staying in hotels or anything like that,”

He continued: “I am loving my break, I’m having a ball.”

“I’m getting ready for the tour which was supposed to have started in January, then it was supposed to start in April and then it was supposed to start in June – it keeps getting knocked back, but basically I’m in a motorhome.”
